Report of Meeting
Thursday 22 November 12
The meeting
started with the ring of the bell and the royal toast.
Today’s
guests were the Past District Governor from Pakistan - Usman Masud Khan, PP Susan Tu (from RC
Cheras) and Mr. Dominic Lawrence ( a guest from PDG Centre Salehuddin).
There were
announcements from Rtn. Lee Jia Peng on the Community Care Carnival that would
be held on Sunday the 16th of December 2012 at the Tropicana Medical
Centre, Kota Damansara and VP Jim Poh on the Christmas Fellowship Dinner that
would be held on Saturday 1 December 2012.
The
President spoke on the upcoming District Conference and the voting of the new
District Governor.
The speaker
of the day was PP Susan Tu on The Rotary Foundation (TRF) and the giving by all
members to this fund.
PDG Usman
Masud Khan had some views on the presentation and suggested that illustrations
on how a small contribution by members could go a long way to help the
under-privilege under this fund.
The meeting
ended shortly after.
